Milk kefir grains are live active cultures consisting of yeast and bacteria which exist in a symbiotic relationship. This powerhouse of probiotics is delicious alone or can be added to fruit smoothies. Unlike the powdered kefir starter sold in stores, these grains are reusable and will last indefinitely as long as they are well taken care of.
Kefir is so easy to make - just add the grains to fresh milk, and it is finished in 24 to 48 hours.
You can make coconut and soy kefir with additional steps taken.
Our grains are only grown in organic milk.
You will receive 1/2 Tablespoon of fresh grains. Ready to culture, not dehydrated. This is enough to begin making 3 cups of kefir every day or two. These grains multiply so you will be able to make a larger quantity as they grow!
Instructions are sent via email, although hard copies may be sent upon request.
