The Health Benefits of Different Types of Organic Tea

  • Black- Black tea has the highest caffeine content of any tea. At around 40 mg of caffeine per cup, this is the tea that will help you to wake up and get going. If you drink at least 3 cups of black tea every single day, you can lower your risk of a stroke by a shocking 21%.
  • Green- Green tea contains antioxidants that have been associated with the prevention of cancer and heart disease. Studies have shown that if you drink a single cup of green tea each day, you can decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease by up to 10%
  • White- White tea contains catechins, which is a type of antioxidant also found in Green tea that can fight cardiovascular disease and cancer. White tea is used by many breast cancer survivors to reduce the risk of recurrence.
  • Oolong- This tea is known as a fat burner. Studies have shown that people who drink oolong tea regularly burn slightly more fat than people who drink water alone. This tea is also used to detoxify your body, and it can even help to prevent tooth decay.
